The Chiang Mai Community Collaboration and Engagement Centre, formerly a library located in a building behind the central hall, was established to support collaboration between ‘agencies and the public.’ This center was formed through the collaboration of a small group of people through various urban development partners.

It began with requesting permission to use the space from the municipality (through the Chiang Mai Municipal Heritage Center, which originally oversaw the area), followed by fundraising and book donations from the public. A joint committee selected books for the library, initially supported primarily by the Chiang Mai Municipal Heritage Center team. The library’s collection caters to diverse interests, with regular readers ranging from young children learning to read, students from nearby schools, university students, company employees, to elderly residents of the old city.

The Chiang Mai Community Collaboration and Engagement Centre is open to everyone for work, meetings, exchanges, and collaborative efforts to drive Chiang Mai forward, offering a wealth of information about the city through its library resources.

We apologize for the inconvenience. The Rehabilitation Center in Wiang Chiang Mai is temporarily closed for renovations. Please check our website and Facebook page for updates, or contact us at 053-217793.
